I was asked by the online site Raise.com to pick my favourite trend for the summer ahead, part of their interactive campaign 'Closet Swap'. (Finally summer has arrived wooo! But for how long?!) Raise is a new marketplace where you can buy discounted gift cards of your favourite brands and sell your unused gift cards for cash. We've all recieved a gift card for a birthday or Christmas, hoping that it would be for Topshop but is actually for somewhere we never buy from! Not just for fashion brands, Raise provides a place where all gift cards from tech companies to food to department stores can be swapped for something you actually want or for cash instead!

I can't help but notice a summer trend that seems to be subtly popping up everywhere at the moment. Co-ords are the matching look of the summer; whether you're wearing a mini or midi skirt, crop top or tee, the look is effortless and easy. The most amazing thing about a co-ord set, is that the outfit combinations are endless! When you're bored of wearing the same print on top and bottom, just wear one part of the co-ord with something else! With various types of co-ords to choose from, how do you navigate the trend? Prints are always a summer favourite and the perfect combo when combined with a co-ord set. I'm really loving the crochet 'grandma' style of the Topshop set above, very charity shop-esque! Not all sets contain crop tops or mini skirts if your worried about flashing your flesh, the Monki set above consists of trousers and a tee. Trouser styles are ideal as they can be worn in the winter too, with sets of matching jackets or shirts. O what I'm thinking about doing: buying a playsuit / jumpsuit / dress and cutting them in half! Easy and simple!
